Taliban as deadly and unmarked despite Pak Army's 'broken back' claims
    Cambodian Times

After brief lull in violence and bloodshed in the country, Lahore was rattled with a series of bomb blasts in Friday, which has certainly put a question mark over the claims of the political and military leadership that the Taliban's back has been broken.

The series of blasts that killed at least 45 persons and injured over 100 in Lahore, the bustling cultural hub of country, certainly proves the point that the Taliban is not down and out yet, and neither it's tenacity to strike at will has subsided.

According to Stratfor, a private U.S.-based intelligence firm, the attacks have proved that the Taliban will continue to target innocent civilians in the country unless the Pakistan Army crushes its head completely and dismantles the rapidly expanding 'jihad' network.

"What is clear, even now, is that the Pakistani Taliban will continue to carry out attacks until Pakistani security forces, which have demonstrated considerable progress in the last 10 months, are able to inflict debilitating damage on the jihadist rebel network in the country," a Stratfor report said.

Analysts also believe that the notion regarding the Taliban suffering heavy blows are not borne out by facts, and that the war against insurgency is going to be a long one.

"They are trying to project their power, telling the government that they are still alive. They are still far from broken. It's going to be a long haul," The Globe and Mail quoted Imtiaz Gul, an expert, as saying.

After the Pakistan Army launched an all out war against the Taliban in the tribal areas of the North West Frontier Province (NWFP), the militants from the region have joined forces with militant groups based in the Punjab province, and all have closely allied to Al-Qaeda, to form a nexus that can strike anywhere in the country.

While both the Pakistani military and political leadership have concentrated only on the Taliban, militant groups like Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), Jaish-e-Mohammad, and Sipah-e-Sahaba, which an off-shoot of the LeJ, have gone untouched, which appears to be the biggest flaw in Pakistan's counter-insurgency strategy, the newspaper said. My opinion is that the Taliban will rule long as it has its followers. Once the followers say the hell with the Taliban shit then Talibans will no longer fight any other people. So let see how Talibans think.

    Taliban subjects

I can convice all of you to do what I say. Believe it or not I can do it. So use your brain as to what you need to do. Dont depend on the almighty to do the work for you. He has only created you. And when he created you he gave you a brain to think. If you can not think then you are nothing. So think and do as he wanted you to do.

Taliban is fool of shit not anything else

Hey Taliban people go study. Listen to all the others, then see if you need to do anything. If not then stay shut. Dont go around messing other people. They dont like it. So study your self first and see if you need to do anything to change that. If not then keep your stupid mouth shut. Thank you.

    Fighting Taliban

If I alone can fightTaliban then why you people can not do the same? I think you people are not caring as to what someone else is doing or can do. They can kill you and you dont care. What the hell people thinking. Once you are dead you are dead. No longer you here in this world. Maybe you went to the next world: The world of hell or the world of the next generation. Depends on your religion.

Taliban are a bunch of cowardly bullies- preferring to kill innocent men women & children who cannot defend themselves. Why some people are worried about their rights as prisoners when captured speaks volumes on how their twisted philosophies have entered the western world, making the gullible feel guilty about alleged treatment of these cowardly bullies while in custody. Fools who defend them say that we shouldn’t lower our standards to meet theirs, but if we don’t, how much longer before another 9-11 attack.. Bullies always squeal the loudest when caught. And they lie. They are cowards, what do you expect. The only good Taliban is a dead Taliban. If you see people feeling sorry for them, straighten them out ASAP. Soon they will be defending them in ways that aren’t fair. Bullies don’t believe in fair, they believe in terrorizing the innocent who can’t defend themselves. Remember this.

    Taliban still Formidible

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out the Taliban’s strategy. Once an offensive starts against the Taliban, the majority of fighters realizing they are out-manned and out gunned, simply retreat into the mountains, or meld with the general populace. A few insurgents are killed, the government declares a victory, and pulls back it’s forces. Then the Taliban return, set off a series of bombings to announce they are back, and not dead and gone. To succeed against the insurgents, it is needed to get into their very infrastructure. Train forces to infiltrate the Taliban and attack from within.

To Jackal, Mike P. and Sheet head and especially Jackal!

Taliban and Terrorism are like a deadly deseases. How can you fight deadly deseases? 1. The doctor have to diagnose the disease. 2.Possibly he should remove the source of it by surgical operation. Taliban was created by Pakistan and still get financed and trained by some element of the pak government. US and other NATO governments are pumping Billions of dollars each year to the Pak government. Every child in Afghanistan and Pakistan knows, that part of that money goes to the Taliban. Continues....
